The Rabelais Room is an east-facing room on the first floor of the main building, with 4-metre ceilings, overlooking the park.

This room is named after the famous 16thcentury author François Rabelais, who was born at La Devinière, around 5 km south of Détilly.

It features a monumental antique wooden bed inlaid with leather and an impressive en-suite bathroom made of local slate, which one reaches after walking through a separate dressing-room.

Of course it comes with high-quality satin sheets and towels, feather duvets and pillows, bathrobes, slippers, French toiletries and more. Click below to find out more about our services.

Total surface: around 43 sqm (463 sq ft).

Bed: super-length king size (1.80 m x 2.10 m – 5.9 ft x 6.9 ft).
